Family Time in Alcalá

Photoshoots with little children always spin around the youngest in the family. It’s crucial to keep them in a good mood and offer stimulating yet safe environment. With Evelin and her family we chose a small town Alcalá because the seaside promenade is less crowded compared to the famous Golden Mile in Playa de las Americas and offers a nice play area for children.

I always tell the parents that the shoot is like a walk in the park. They don’t have to make their kids smile or behave. Those things happen naturally when the family spends quality time together. Making memories literally means that you have fun and the photographs will capture those great moments you actually enjoyed with your loved ones. Believe it or not, but there are courses for photographers that teach just that: how to make people feel more relaxed, how to pose them without telling them how to be, how to talk to family members who are in a bad mood and so on. This family didn't need any of that, they were just naturally great.
It’s also hard to believe that all those moments could fit into just 60 minutes. From the brutally hot sun into the night. This happens really fast in Tenerife, so within limited time you can have totally different moods in your photos. The last sun rays reflecting from the sea and the skies make the light at the golden hour magical, plus it's not too hot any more.
Everything involving booking the shoot is also very easy and totally transparent. See for yourself!
